Summary
The U.S. Army Tank-automotive Armaments Command (TACOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) is responsible for sustaining war fighting readiness and managing a large part of the Army’s investment in war fighting capacity as integrator of nearly 3,000 weapon systems that form the core of the Army’s war fighting capability.
EMSI won 3 consecutive contract awards to support US Army TACOM ILSC. Tasked to provide Enterprise Architecture, Technical Guidance, Leadership, Training, Design, Oversight and full life-cycle development to the first mainframe application from ILSC to be downsized to a Win32 based Client Server platform. The application received data feeds from the mainframe and UNIX platforms and also acted as financial data feeder to DCPS for civilian payroll processing.
